from. |

Southeast Asia |

Feeding |
Chubby Frogs love to eat their insects. Provide them
with a good variety including crickets, mealworms, moths,
earthworms and even grasshoppers. Variety is very important
to ensure that the frog is getting the wide range of
vitamins and nutrients that it needs to stay healthy
and avoid diseases.
Chubby Frogs will drink water from a dish. For this
reason they should have a shallow water dish in their
enclosure. This will also help to keep the humidity
high. |
| |
Habitat |
| Humidity: |
The humidity level of a Chubby Frogs enclosure
will need to remain relatively high. Misting the
enclosure numerous times per day will help to obtain
this humidity level. |
| |
|
| Physical Design: |
Since the Chubby Frog likes to hide throughout
most of the day you will need to provide it plenty
of hiding places. |
| |
|
| Substrate: |
As mentioned above the Chubby Frog likes to hide,
it also likes to burry itself in the ground. For
this reason you should use potting soil or peat
moss so that it can dig in its substrate easily. |
| |
|
| Temperature: |
80 degrees F seems to be the recommended daytime
temperature for a Chubby Frog. At night the temperature
can safely drop by 10 to 15 degrees F. |
