| Anterior |
| Towards the front of the frog in question. |

| Aquatic |
| This is a frog that lives and spends the majority of
its time in the water. |

| Caudal |
| In the direction of the tail of the frog. |

| Dorsal |
| The back of the frog. |
| |
| Femur |
| A relatively large bone in the thigh of a frog. |

| Lateral |
| The side of a frog. |
| |
| Pads |
| Pads are found at the end of the toes on a
frog. They assist the frog in climbing objects such as
trees. |

| Submerged |
| Occurs when a frog is completely underneath the water. |
| |
| Terrestrial |
| Refers to an animal (in this case a frog) that lives
solely on land. |
| |
| Ventral |
| The lower part or belly of a frog. |
