White Patch

White patch is very common and only tadpoles can be affected by it. When the disease first starts small white patches will be visible on the bottom side of the tadpole. As it progresses they will lose most or all of their energy and remain near the bottom of the tank.

The primary cause of White Patch is subpar water conditions for your tadpoles. If you notice the disease forming in some of your tadpoles it is time to take a look at your water quality.
